Upgrades
Bomb Bags:
You can acquire three regular-sized bomb bags during the quest. Buy the first one when you purchase bombs at Barnes Bomb Shop after conquering the Gordon Mines. You'll get the second one when you help Iza unblock the river in Lanayru Province. You can find the third one by blowing up the giant underwater rock in the throne room of Zora's Domain with a water bomb.

Wallets:
Agitha in Castle Town will reward you with bigger wallets when you bring her Golden Bugs. She's give you the big wallet[holds 600 rupees] when you give her your first bug, and a giant wallet[holds 1000 rupees] when you give her all 24 insects.

Quivers:
Normally you can only carry 30 arrows, but if you succeed at the star minigame in Castle Town, you can enhance you carrying capacity. When you beat the star minigame the first time, you'll earn the big quiver, which allows you to carry 60 arrows. When you beat the game again, you'll get the giant quiver, which holds 100. A bigger quiver comes in handy when you're exploring the Cave of Ordeals.

MAGIC ARMOR:
At Malo Mart in Kakariko Village you'll find Gordon elders asking for a 1000 rubee donation to help restore the West Bridge into Castle Town. When you give them the funds they need, they'll request 2000 more rupees to open a store in Castle Town. After you've given them the cash they need, Malo Mart will expand into Castle Town and take over the overpriced shop in the southwest corner in the town square, where you can buy the armor for 598 rupees.

BOTTLES:
Link can find four bottles as you explore Hyrule. Use them to hold faries, Chu Jelly, Lantern Oil, and more. To get the first bottle, go to Sera's shop after you catch a fish for Sera's cat in Ordon Village. She'll give Link a bottle that's half-filled with milk. Link can buy the second bottle from Coro, the lantern oil salesman in Faron Woods. He'll sell Link a bottle filled with oil for 100 rupees. For the third bottle, visit Hana's Fishing Hole and head to the small bridge on the west side. Bobber-fish on the west side of the bridge, and Link will eventually reel in a bottle. Link will receive the fourth bottle from Jovani. Retrieve at least 20 Poe Souls, then return to his house in Castle Town. He'll reward Link with a bottle filled with Fairy Tears.

Bigger Bomb Bag
Hint - Bomb Bags

Bomb Bag 1: You buy some bombs at Barnes Bomb Shop in Kakariko. Barnes will sell you this Bomb Bag. That's easy.

Bomb Bag 2: When you thaw out Zora's Domain (complete the second dungeon), go underwater and set a Water Bomb at the large rock in the center of the cave. A Goron inside will give you this Bomb Bag.

Bomb Bag 3: Talk to the woman outside of the Boat-Rental Shack and she will ask you to blow up rocks inside of the cave under her Unabomber-style shack. She will give you this Bomb Bag when you make it outside the other end of the shack-cave tunnel.

Giant Bomb Bag: After completing the task for the woman at the Boat-Rental Shack, go back and talk to her to play a game. Earn at least 25 points at the end of the mini-game and if you succeed, she will give you the Giant Bomb Bag.

Defeat Stallord
Entry Location:
Arbitors Grounds

The battle against the boss of the Gerudu Prison is long and confusing. And without a sense of direction, it will take you forever. Here's how you beat him: When you enter the room, Stallord will be nothing but a pile of bones. Than Zant comes and stabs him with an evil sword. Stallord comes to life and roars. He is an ancient skeleton of some kind and attack by shooting smog at you. He is inside a sand pitt which is hard for you to walk in, without the spinner. There are engravements on the edge of the sand pitt, so go on the stone and spin onto them. While watching out for the spiky spinners spin till you have an openning, then blast off toward him. Swerve around his minions and spin attack his spine. Do this 3 times and Stallord will play dead and the sand will go away. There will be a spinner gear thingy. Spin until Stallords head comes to life and knocks you off. In the crevace start spinning on the wall, until you catch up to stallord. When he starts shooting fire balls, jump to dodge. When you're close enough, jump to hit him. When he falls, slash the sword on his head till he gets up and flies off. Do this until the sword breaks.

He will ask you to take a barrel of hot springwater to a goron on the west of castletown. Just run straight forward to the west side of castle town, and talk to the sitting goron, and then throw the barrel on top of him. Don't get hit by monsters, and it WILL cool after time. After you throw the barrel on top of him, go back to the meditating goron, and talk to him. Then you only have to pay 200 extra rupees instead of 2000, so you can get Magic Armor for 598 rupees.

How to Beat The Ice boss
When the fight first starts out, just keep using the ball and chain you got from beating that loser suit of armor, and whack the lady with it three times. It should be easy enough. After you do that, you think you've won and it shows the lady all mad. After the next scene, you have to fight her again, but this time she's in a special Frozen Throne thing with a bunch of huge ice things. The way you beat this one - take the ball and chain and hit her Throne. When the ice things circle you and then she comes from above and tries to hit you. Run in circles and look on the ice to see when they start to drop around you, and you run until the biog lasy drops and you whack her with the ball and chain. Repeat three times and she's dead.

Getting your Sword
This is a short walkthrough that will get you through the first few challenges required to get your sword and begin the adventure! Don't read on if you'd rather figure everything out yourself!

Get the Fishing Pole

After you've herded the goats and are awoken to a group of children outside your house, you need to get your hands on a fishing pole! To do this, enter town - there is a woman standing by the river who is very upset about losing something... this is the mother of the child who made you a fishing pole. To get the pole, you'll have to find what she's missing. There is a tall rock platform in the middle of town - climb up the vines to the top and talk to the man up there. He'll tell you a little about jumping, and something about that delightful song you play with grass. Jump to the last platform and pick the grass. Play it and you'll summon a bird! If you aim your bird at a chicken and release it, it will bring it back to you, which is good for flying between high points. This time, however, look off into the distance, down the river, and you'll see a mischievous looking figure holding something.... let your bird go and you've got it! Return it to the lady and she'll give you the fishing pole!

Get the Slingshot

Check out the purple shop - the woman is upset because her cat is missing. You've seen it before, the man on top of the rock platform pointed him out, trying to catch fish. Unfortunately, he runs away every time you come close. Pull out your fishing pole while standing next to him and catch a fish. Now he's interested, and will follow you around! Catch another fish and release it, and he'll grab it off the ground and run straight home! Now you can purchase a slingshot from the store!

Knock down the hive

Your last task is to knock down the bee hive with your slingshot. Easy enough - just be ready to run into the water once you're attacked! Once you're done you can climb up to it's remains and scoop some of it into your jar - good for fish bait and for eating. Also, you'll see a very tall vine ladder that you can climb, which leads you to some rupees! Now all you have to do is return home, and the mighty wooden sword is all yours! Talk to the kids and show them how it's done to learn the basics - and watch out for monkeys...

Fish for a Bottle
At the fishing hole, there is a sign that says, "No Littering!" If you fish by the bridge near that sign, where the water is a little darker, you can catch an empty bottle!

Beat the First Two Bosses

Tripple-Headded Boku-Bubba!

To defeat the first boss make sure the boomarang is set to "B" and be ready for a battle! When you first enter there will be two vines sticking out of the water. On two platforms there are bomb spiders. While dodging attacks from the two vines target the bomb with your boomerang then target the plant. Release the "B" button and the boomerang will pick up the bomb and carry it to the flower and it will die! Do this to both of them! Thats not all! Than the two little ones will sprout up with another big one! Now the bomb spiders are gone! The mini-boss monkey swings fro the sky and he will carry a bomb! Now target the bomb and take out the little ones first. Then go in for the kill! Repeat to the big one and it will fall! Slash it a few times and it will be toast!

Toron the Fire Boss!

Before entering be sure to have your arrows set to "B" and your iron boots ready because when you enter the giant creature will break loose of his chain and attack! First hit the glowing gem on his head and he will rampage - now grab the chain on his leg and put on your iron boots and tug! He will trip and fall. Now run on to the front of him and wack away! Do this three times and he will be defeated!

Getting the Ordon Sword
When you're a wolf and you have to get the sword out of the house, don't try to attack the guy - he will just hit you and you won't do any damage. Instead, walk to the left of the house and use your senses - look behind the logs and there should be sparkles. Dig there and you will come up and be inside the house. The sword will be all the way to the left on the sofa. Go back to where you dug and hit dig again and you will be back outside.
