As you guys probably know, I have no problem with burning discs. Our community thrives on it.
But a lot of people do still have a problem with it. So, I get a bit antsy about being discovered, and my defense isn't exactly ironclad.
Therefore, I think we should put together something to where we can still support the developers whenever possible. Honor the spirit of the law if not the letter.

It's easy to say what games aren't currently DC-exclusive. A significant portion of our library got sucked into the PS2, for one thing. But those themselves are long-discontinued now, and buying one of those won't give any more support than a direct download.

So the question is, which games are still being actively sold?

Rules: a game is still being sold if it has been:
  • Remade on a current-gen console (e.g. Rez Infinite)
  • Ported to a current-gen console or PC (e.g. Dreamcast Collection), even if limited somehow (e.g. the XBLA version of Soul Calibur)
  • Released in alternate version on a Virtual Console-type service (e.g. PSOne Classics versions)
  • Is an indie/homebrew title, especially if made after 2004 (enforced by the forum rules anyway).
  • Note: Games that were previously available on a current gen console but have since been taken down (e.g. Marvel vs. Capcom 2, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) do not count.

That's not to say "only play those versions". Of course not. This is just so that, if someone questions you, you can say that you legally own it, even moreso than someone who bought a used GD-ROM.

Please list any games and details about games that I've missed. Because I know I've missed white a few.
