Hey there! I have made yet another modification to my Dreamcast. Now, you may be asking, "What did you do to your Dreamcast?" Well, I turned it into a canine!
Now, to be honest, there is only one dog that I like--and that is my very own "Doggy Dreamcast"!
XD
Don't worry, my games are fine with the tongue inside there. "Woof woof!" :)
With VMU...
.without VMU.
Face in the controller! :D
Glowing tongue! :P
The materials I used to make it were construction paper and Scotch tape. I also used scissors to cut out the shapes. I used pink construction paper for the tongues and black construction paper for the ears. I also used a pencil to draw a detail on the tongues. It's a small modification, but it's humorous and effective. :)
Basically what I did was I taped the tongue shape to the bottom part of the pit under the lid, just so my discs wouldn't get scratched by the paper. I just attached the dog ears to the sides of the Dreamcast with tape. Thought it would be funny and add to the "doggy" idea. :)
For the controller, I attached a smaller tongue in front of the hole where the VMU goes. If there is no VMU in the controller, you can see two eyes for the hole, as if the controller was making a sticking-tongue-out gesture. I thought it was pretty neat and original. :P
This took me about an hour to do, and I'm pretty proud of it. Yes, I can proudly say "I have a dog shaped like a Dreamcast" in public. Crazy, right?
I just said it out loud, didn't I?
Thanks for reading,
