Let's see if I got a good grasp of the current possibilities of the DC nowadays. With a DC, you can:
  • Play your old original games.
  • Still play online!
  • Listen audio CDs.
  • Surf the web (extra soft on disc needed).
  • With the help of a boot disc*:
    • Play original games from other regions.
    • Play backups.
    • Play modded backups.
    • Play emulators (genesis, scummvm, etc).
  • Do all the above without using discs with the help of something like: Dreamcast SD Adapter (SD Reader) - Home | Facebook . Games must be patched to be compatible.


* The "booting part" could be already included on the emulator or backup CD.

What else am I missing? I know about Dreamshell, but at the end of the day it is just an interface to help on doing what I listed above, not and end on itself.
