Ok, so I recently got a Dreamcast after a long hiatus of not owning one, and when I tried out the VMU I bought from my local game shop I noticed something odd, but perhaps you guys could shed some light on the subject. Now, the VMU I recently bought is in the top left corner (slot A-1) and as you can see there are a few oddities with the logo. Instead of being grey like it should be, its black, and instead of having a digital VMU logo in the center, its a grinning horse. I've tried googling and searching various forums/message boards for some kind of an answer, but I can't find anything, not a logo, not a forum post or even a line of text anywhere that talks about this phenomenon.

I'm just a tad confused, I've looked into VMU modding and from what I've seen and read you can't really mod them to do something like this. Do any of you know what's going on? And to be clear, it's a first party Dreamcast VMU, stock, nothing special, its just like every other first party VMU.
