so i may have figured it out what i did was enter the address for the vengeful eye on advanced mode.
Since i didnt have the item in my stash i looked at the advanced mode screen and i hit the down arrow next to the hro. heading at the top of the advanced mode screen.
then i found my character and re enter the address.
it found the item then i went to on my Google chrome search bar and pulled up my hex converter

hexadecimal conversion, convert decimal to hexadecimal

i remembered i had 2 vengeful eyes so i looked at my hex converter and typed the number 2 in the first box
then i hit the button for hexadecimal and it showed up at the number 2.

Then i looked at the advanced mode screen. since the address was already highlighted blue i looked all around the highlighted address for the number 2 i only found one and it was on the same line ass the address.

Then i went back to my hex converter and since the number 2 was presented as 02 on the advanced mode screen i checked to see if 02 would be another number or letter other than 2.

The result was that it still was the number 2
Then i typed the number 99 in the box on the left in my hex converter and i hit the hexadecimal button
In the right box on the hex converter it gave me the number 63
So i looked at advanced mode and where i found the 02 on the same line as my highlighted blue address i enter 63.

I then made sure my orginal save was backed up on my ps3 in the playstation plus save area.
I then made sure that on the advanced mode screen at the bottom i hit the down arrow and selected my game save profile
I saved the stuff i did in advanced mode on my game genie flash drive.
then i loaded it back to the ps3
it worked i didnt have a corrupted save and i had 99 vengenful eyes
