As you can see, the first balloon on the left is harder to get. I'm guessing that it's probably the 3rd to last balloon in the "WeaponBalloon" area, as the memory says. I also had the position coords and size coords for each of the balloons I hacked one of these codes for (and a couple others, I think, but it was hard to tell), but I didn't write them down because I wanted to get down here and try and talk to HyperHacker on AIM about something. |

Change Balloons To Silver |
Code Master |
811FC9E2 FFFF |
With this code, it will make you play the 2nd adventure, mirrored tracks, whether you load it from your previous save, or if you start from the beginning. But, once you do use it, you will be in the Adventure 2 Mode, and it WILL save. However, it wont activate the 'Adventure Two' Game Select Option. So, if you entered this code, and it saved, and you don't have the 'Adventure Two' Option, then you must use the code Cheat Device Button to Load Adventure Two File code. |

Hovercraft Drag (Default 4110) |
Hyperhacker |
81046882 ???? |
Reducing this value increases your maximum speed (4010 gives you about 150). Changing both this and the Hovercraft Max Speed value allows you to reach insane speeds, flying high into the air from the slightest bump. (Fun on Whale Bay!) Note that the AI doesn't seem to notice the speed boost with this code. |

This code does nothing on its own. To use it you need to add the lines 81400080 0icc, 81400082 0lbb, 80400084 0001. (Ensure the last line begins with 80, not 81.) i is the item you want: 0=boost 1=missile 2=oil 3=shield 4=magnet. cc is the number of said item; this can be up to 127 (7F) but the display will only show up to 10. Zero gives you no item. l is the item powerup level you want, 0 to 2. Finally, bb is the number of bananas you want, 0 to 99 (63). The reason these last 3 lines are separate is that they can be used with activators (even on emulators). The third line sets a flag telling the code to update the item/banana information, then zero out these values. So for example you can assign different item values to jokers for an item select, or put the third line on a joker to give yourself more items and bananas at the touch of a button. With some ASM work you could even have it add to the item/banana values, then set the update flag, to allow you to choose exactly what you want. Used without an activator, it simply locks your items and bananas at the specified values. This code affects all human players, but not AI. It works EVERYWHERE - every track, character and vehicle. You can even have items in the lobby in Adventure mode, or cheat at the boss battles. It even modifies your bananas in Icicle Pyramid, Darkwater Beach and Smokey Castle. This code requires the expansion pak because I'm lazy. |

Doesn't work in Tracks mode. Adventure Mode only and need (801FCA18 0001 enabled also). To get it to work on Emulator just play in a previously saved 1P mode file. To get it to work on a real N64 console with Action Replay you must use this code with 80207EA8 0001 and play in 1P mode with the code on. Go to any trophy race and start it, then quit and you'll be at the course that you had chosen. There is no music on the Beta courses. Some courses aren't actually "Beta" but they aren't normally playable (from the games cutscenes). 00 - Central Area 01 - Walrus Boss 1 02 - Dragon Forest 03 - Fossil Canyon 04 - Pirate Lagoon 05 - Ancient Lake 06 - Walrus Cove 07 - Hot Top Volcano 08 - Whale Bay 09 - Snowball Valley 0A - Cresent Island 0B - Fire Mountain 0C - Dino Domain 0D - Everfrost Peak 0E - Sherbet Island 0F - Spaceport Alpha 10 - Horseshoe Gulch - Playable Beta - You can see some untextured polygons! It is a very small track that doesn't even loop. (The AI is really dumb!) 11 - Spacedust Alley 12 - Greenwood Village 13 - Boulder Canyon 14 - Windmill Plains 15 - Front End (Freezes on a real N64) (Supposed to be the Spinning N Logo) [On Emu: plays the Spinning "N" Logo with Diddy then game stays at the Rareware logo which spins continuously, the music still plays too.] 16 - Character Select Test - (Freezes on a real N64) [On Emu: Stays at the Character select screen] 17 - RC Car Sequence (Not Playable on a real N64) [On Emu: Plays cutscene with Diddy, Pipsy and Timber arriving at the Island emblazoned with Nintendo, then the character introductions play. 18 - Snowflake Mountain 19 - Smokey Castle 1A - Darkwater Beach 1B - Icicle Pyramid 1C - Frosty Village 1D - Jungle Falls 1E - Treasure Caves 1F - Haunted Woods 20 - Darkmoon Caverns 21 - Star City 22 - (Trophy Race) Playable Beta (On An N64 only: It's the Central Area. But in it's form when you see the "Taj Intro". It's safe to fall off the edge of the course as Rare programmed it so you warp back to the course if you fall) [On Emu: all you get is the flappy Trophy Race Flag...] 23 - Future Funland 24 - (Sequence Area) Beta (It's the Central Area with exits cut out) 25 - Wizpig 1 26 - Tricky 1 27 - (Options Background) (On a real N64: Just a Black screen, not a freeze so you can quit)[On Emu: works as normal, 4 butterflies flutter about, with sky background scrolling.) 28 - Sherbet Boss 1 29 - Dragon Boss 2A - Wizpig Mouth Seq Not Playable Beta (N64 only: No big Wizpig Face! Different Pad - Blue with a yellow star - you only see half of the pad) [On Emu: works normal - Wizpig cutscene sequence plays (and then black screen can't exit as it's a cutscene)] 2B - Ammy Sequence (Wizpig Amulet) Not Playable on a real N64 - Blue Screen only) [On Emu: works as normal] 2C - Stopwatch Ammy (T.T Amulet) Not Playable on a real N64 - Blue Screen only) [On Emu: works as normal] 2D - Rocket Sequence (Beta Rocket Area!) On a real N64, you can play in part of the area that this cutscene takes place [On Emu: works as normal Lighthouse Rocket takes off to Future Funland) 2E - TrickyTops 3 2F - Trophy Race - Dino 30 - Trophy Race - Snowflake Mountain 31 - Trophy Race - Sherbet Island 32 - Trophy Race - Dragon Forest 33 - (Wizpig) Playable Beta (On a real N64 - No course entry points work, the trophy race does.) [On Emu: shows a TT trophy, 3rd place in Trophy race on Future Funland] 34 - Walrus Boss 2 35 - Octopus Boss 2 (Sherbet) 36 - Dragon Boss 2 37 - Wizpig 2 38 - Party Sequence 1 (Not Playable on a real n64) [On Emu: Ending Party! 1st time you beat wizpig you'd get this ending with the characters having a party because wizpig has been beaten, he pops out from around his hiding spot, the Lighthouse, and breaks up the party, he had to say goodbye, he then terrorises them a bit more then beams up onto one of his space ships, which isn't really his size so he gets shrinked] 39 - TrickTops Animation 1 Playable (You get the whole course!, no objects are loaded except for the top where the cutscene usually takes place, go to the top and have a look at the cool Tricky Stone Face) 3A - Dragon Boss Animation 1 Playable (You get the whole course! Can Drive throught the fences too) 3B - Walrus Boss Animation 1 Playable (You get part of the course - if you go to the closed up part and try to "look through the wall", you'll see there are other course bits still there) 3C - Wizpig Animation 1 Playable (You get part of the course) 3D - Octo Animation Playable (You get part of the course) 3E - Wizspaceanim Playable (You get part of the course) [On Emu: It's Future Funland Wizpig, who breaks through a wall, But Race doesn't start] 3F - Lastbit (Not playable on a real N64) [On Emu: It's part 1 of the last cutscene for beating Wizpig 2!] 40 - Lastbit (Not playable on a real N64) [On Emu: It's the 2nd part of the Final Ending Sequence for beating Wizpig 2!! with Drumstick T.T. the stopwatch, Tricky, The Walrus Boss, Conker getting some serious air-time, the dragon boss which Timber gets to ride! Diddy Flying about and finally it focuses on the Golden Taj head, which replaces the usual Wizpig Head that genie didn't win the races how come he gets his head up there... Finally, it shows that wizpig isn't finished (so Rare leave DKR open for a sequel (which prob won't ever come.. Sad (Donkey Kong Racing)...Screen stays black with Bird SFX)] Emulator Only Digit 41 - Freezes on N64 [on Emu: starts you in the Central area (with an extra 8 balloons which is odd) In the lobby T.T options are altered Central Area is where lobby warps you too... Restart challenge takes you to the lobby...exiting back to the file select screen you'll see that your number of ballons has increased largely. if you had chosen file 3, files 1 & 2 will have been affected too. gives 50 balloons to file 2 and 3 and 96 ballons to file 1. Cutscenes only seem to work on emu only) |

Sometimes this code might not work in every level like racing the various bosses, being on the island or even the mini-games (ie. Darkwater Beach) in 1P mode. This code also doesn't work in trophy races. This code can be used to use vehicles in levels you couldn't before. For example you can play Icicle Pyramid with the plane. 0 - Car 1 - Hovercraft 2 - Plane 3 - Hover Car 4 - Car (Glitched, Can't Control) 5 - Tricky 6 - Bluey 7 - Smokey 8 - Pterodactyl 9 - Snowball (Can't Control, Unlike In Banjo-Tooie) A - Carpet (No Taj) B - Bubbler C - Wizpig D - Wizpig On Rocket |

Bosses function as a new vehicle. They could of coded them as characters, but they would still have to code in a new vehicle for them to use as they don't function as a car, plane or hovercraft. Take the Dragon for example, he can run and fly, different physics when he does the two. They would have to code in a Car/Plane combo for him to work properly. So just making them a vehicle instead of a Vehicle/Player combo saves them space. As for the values higher than 8, make a "joker", it freezes because it doesn't know what to select when the "Choose your vehicle" menu comes up. I activated the codes after that menu came up and it works fine. |

There are a few cons to this code. Some glitches exists here and there but nothing much to be worried about. However, this code doesn't work in Adventure Mode. This wasn't tested on all levels. I'll try to refine these later. Tested at Treasure Caves. I was Diddy, player 2 was Tricky. |

Works Very Poorly. Flying over water slows you down, and you have to use the accellerator again to keep your speed. This works well in the Plane Challenge race, because the genie will crash into the wall due to the controls being off, then you can disable the code, and fly normally for the entire course, without actually racing |
