Where is the crystal ball for the fortuned teller in Chapter 3
After talking with the fortune teller in Shecola, you'll need to retrieve her lost crystal ball in order to exchange it for her services in eventually waking the Miracola chief's daughter. After you've talked to the fortuneteller, head through the mountain pass nearby and enter the underground passage for another heart container. Then you will have to head out on the northern finger of the lagoon and into the abandoned cemetery/town. Head for the patch of graves far to the left and step on the grave that is painted blue . You'll enter a series of tunnels that you'll have to use your yo-yo and special weapons to get through. If you need red hearts at the beginning of this cave, you can take a northern path along a series of green jumping blocks lined with bouncing skulls. Take the door through the northern wall, pick up the double heart, and take the only way out back to the graveyard surface. You can repeat this until your hearts are full. When you're ready to advance, go through the southern door of this same room where the two skelepuppies are. In the upcoming maze you'll be faced with about two or three forks in the road before you reach a point where you don't have to worry about getting shut out. You'll know you've gone the right way when you find the room with not a double heart or anything but a small purplish slug. Don't be hasty -- kill the slug and take an immediate east turn through the hole in the wall. In this room you can get yourself another double set of hearts by going around the wall to a hole in the break off of the southern wall. There's a ghost in the little compartment in the lower left hand of the room, so using a wand might be a good idea. Get the double hearts if you need them. If you don't, just go out the door in the eastern wall because you'll either have to take half a hit or spend a wand to get through the double heart room and you'll also have to re-enter from the slug room. At the end of the maze there is a large carving of a skull in the wall. Jump three times on the northern panel and it will pour water into the hole before you. You'll be allowed to leave and you'll find yourself back at the surface of the graveyard, and the pond in the town will be dried up. The crystal ball will be lying there on the ground net to a hole that evidently allows the lake to be drained out into the dungeon through the skull carving's mouth. Pretty ingenious architecture for people who live in thatch-roofed houses.
