Special Attack tip

When you are at one strip of energy, just keep doing your special attack. You might as well take out as many enemies as you can before you die.

Raph's special attack

Raph's special attack is slightly weaker than the other turtles. For example, with the flying foot soldiers on the surfboard stage, with Raph it takes 2 special hits to kill it, but with everyone else it only takes 1.

Keep your life

Once you have only one block of life left, press A and B together constantly. If you have one block of life only, it won't take your life down. You can survive quite a long time doing this.

Fighting Bosses

Don't be afraid to use your special attack, even when you have some energy left. Sure it costs you energy to use it, but if you don't use it, trust me, you'll lose it anyway.

Randomly select your next turtle after defeated

On the Turtle Select Screen, press Down five times for a one-player game, or press Down 10 times for a two-player game. With this code, whenever you are defeated, the game will randomly select your next turtle. So, while you may start playing with Leo, after being defeated, you may continue with Don, Mike, or Raph.

Option screen

On the screen where the title of the game and the choice for number of players appears, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, Start on Controller 1. Then select your turtle, and you'll go to the Options screen. If you're playing a two-player game, press Select before Start.
