Diablo III?

I had been hearing buzz all about diablo III last year around summer time, but never a release date, at first I was hearing the approximate release time would be in the summer of 2010 but I haven't heard much talk of that or seen anything that would confirm that, If anyone knows when the game is to be released please post back I'd greatly appreciate it, Thanks!

Did anyone else hear about this marketplace they're implementing for Diablo III where you can actually buy and sell weapons and armor for real money? Anyone else think this is a cheap way for Blizzard to make even more money selling digital goods?
