I tried updating to the 6.39 OFW, but I get an error stating

The game could not be started.
(DADADADA)
I'm fairly certain 3.52M33 had update protection which is why I am unable to update the PSP. I just put in a fresh 4 gig stick and I'm not quite sure how to go about performing the update from here.

I would appreciate any advice on the matter, whether it be a personal walk through or a link pointing me in the right direction. Thank you.
