Hello there bought psp 2003 slim date code 8b in 2009 was able to do most things play video view pics and play mp3 and games from memory duo stick. now my psp says ver 6.20 firmware which i believe is original firmware .

problem is a can not install cfw when i try to use hellcats flash utility it says the game cannot be started the data is corupt . i can not get into recovery mode i think i might have a semi brick. just now i can watch video play umd games play music view pictures . i have read a lot of articles on the forums but nothing seems to work . i am good with pc problems bit of a techie but not so good with psp. can anyone help please
