I've been out of the game for a while and starting to miss the PSP especially with some of the latest games around now.
I'm considering buying a PSP 1003 with 4gb sandisk duo a friend has for sale. It's a bit worn but works just great and comes with the 5.00 m33-6 custom firmware.
If I do buy it I would like to get a newer custom firmware as I'm guessing a newer one is needed to run the latest games from the duo card. I just looked at a tutorial that requires the genuine 6.20 firmware for a permanent install (How to Install 6.20 TN-D PERMANENT,6.35PRO-B & Load ISOs)
Is this route the best option? if so how hard would it be to change from 5.00 m33-6 to the initial genuine 6.20 firmware?
Plus would it still run all the emulators? Amiga, Mega Drive, Snes, Scummvm I like the best.
