Okay, so I have been searching for hours and hours on YouTube and Google on how to downgrade my PSP from 6.20 to 5.03. I have done everything there is, but I still can't seem to downgrade to 5.03. I have a PSP 3000 model, and below is all of the gathered information while I was running PSPident:
PSPident 0.70:
Motherboard type: Brite 4G (3000)
Motherboard model: TA-093
UMD firmware ver.: 1.240ANov10, 2006
Now, my System Software says: Version 6.20 TN-B.
I have been watching countless videos on the next step. I enable the "fake index.dat" and "restart vsh". Now, some people said to eject your memory card, so I did that method already as well as leaving it in during the reboot.
Reboot has finished, I check my System Software again; Version 6.20 TN-B, right? Now, I scroll over to the "PSP Update ver 5.03" and click on the update. This is where my problem begins, it doesn't update, it shows the PSP screen and proceeds to shut completely down. I start it back up and nothing, back to step 1 again. I have repeated this so many times, downloaded so many programs but yet, nothing has worked. I also read on a YouTube video that the PSP 3000 can't downgrade to 5.03?
Anyways, if anyone could help me out with this, it would mean a whole lot! I have spent so many hours trying to solve this problem and it has brought me here, so please help me with this any way you can!
