I got my first PSP 3000 yesterday and spent the day reading how to install custom firmware but I'm stuck.
The original firmware version when I got it was 6.31. I then followed this guide: http://psp.dashhacks.com/2011/01/03/...6-35-released/
After running the demo and my PSP restarted, it would say version 6.31 pro and I was able to play my ISOs. I was happy and it seemed like a success. But, any time I would power off the system and turn it back on, my PSP would load the default 6.31 firmware. I don't want to have to run the demo every time before playing a game I want. And that sounds bad for the PSP anyway changing the firmware back and forth 100 times
So how do I make stay on 6.31 pro? All I want is my PSP to be able to play ISOs. I'm not looking for PS1 games, emulators, or homebrew. I just want a simple and working way to play PSP backups that will require no future tweaking.
Please send me in the right direction
