I just broke the screen of my PSP-1000 (that i've had since launch!:(), and while I will eventually replace the screen, i've also wanted to buy a new psp for awhile now. now that the screen is broken, it's a perfect opportunity.

get a 3000 or 2000? Is the new screen on the 3000 that much worth it? I'd obviously have to buy either of them used to get a low enough FW for modding, which might be a problem here (in Japan).
