So I have a 2GB SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo that causes my PSP to freeze randomly when running Apps/Games. I know it isn't the software, as the same software runs fine all of my other Memory Sticks (even a 4GB SanDisk of the same product line). I know the Memory Stick is legit. I bought it at WalMart and it shows MagicGate supported, so I have a hard time believing that it would be a fake.

So is there a certain method of formatting that could resolve this issue? Or a particular setting that I could change to fix the problem? I've got a PSP-2001 and a PSP-1001 that are both running 5.50GEN-D3 and the problem occurs on both, so I think it is fairly safe to assume it is the Memory Stick. Basically the load times when running games just become atrocious until the PSP eventually freezes.
