NOTES!!

First, use my chart as a legend. Using CWCheat, go to Cheat Searcher, and Start a new search for a fixed value. Enter the number of however many Potions you have, and search.

It will take at least 5 minutes, minimum, and will return over 40,000 results. Back out of CWCheat, use or discard a Potion, then go back into the Cheat Searcher.

Continue a search for a fixed value, and enter the new number of your Potions. It will take about two minutes, and should return a single search result. Press Triangle to try that code, and edit the last two digits to 63.

If it worked properly, you now have 99 Potions. Using the legend above, just determine how many digits you need to change to get the Golden Apple.

Also, I think that the moon phase and whether or not you're in a town or dungeon can affect this code. When I start my game with codes enabled, this same code, using Potions as the control, gives me 99 Twin Stars, and the Twin Star accessory basically takes the slot of 0x00794466. But, (in this example, I have Rydia and Luca saved right outside of Tomra, post-Sealed Cave), if I walk into Tomra, and then the inn, and THEN activate the codes, it works properly and gives me 99 Potions.

I can just estimate how many items I need to cycle through, using the pattern above, to change the Twin Stars to anything else I want.

Once you have ANY item code working, then you can use the pattern of my codes to make your own. If you can create Potions, then just go to the end of the code that DID create Potions for you, highlight the final digit, and press up 34 times (since Golden Apples are 17 positions away from Potions).
