How do you get the secret weapon at armed Armadillo's stage

Toast the final boss with this trick. Here's the breakdown. To perform the trick, you must have all eight boss weapons, all nine heart tanks, and all four sub tanks.

When you begin the game, don't go to the Sigma Stage. Instead, enter the Armored Armadillo stage.

Play to the end of the stage four times, keeping your Energy and Weapon meters at maximum. It's okay if you take a hit or use a weapon during the stage just be sure to recharge both meters by the time you get to the end of the stage.

Each time you reach the end of the stage, you must use the Escape Velocity to restart at the beginning of the stage. Remember, you must play though four times and always have full Weapon and Energy at the end of the stage.

After the fourth play-through, escape and restart one more time for a fifth try. This time, however, don't use the Escape Velocity. Instead, ride the third wheeled platform across the canyon and climb up the cliff before the entrance to Armored Armadillo's lair. On the top of the cliff, you will find a power-up capsule containing Dr. Light in a Ryu costume. He will give you the "Hadoken" Fireball technique!

How do you beat Sigma's head

In order to beat Sigma's final form, you should of course fill up all your reserve tanks to the max, and try to take as little damage as possible in the fight's first two segments. For a weapon, you will want the rolling shield from Armored Armadillo. You have to dodge for a while, preferably staying to one side of the screen, and just as he swipes at you, jump onto his hand. As soon as he brings it up again, leap off and fire at his head once. You have to jump quickly, or be hit by a powerful lightning blast from both the top and bottom of his hand. Once you land, you must wait for the lightning blast, staying away from his hands, then return to a side of the room, and repeat the process, of course healing when your health gets low.

Firing tip

When you fire when your still, you do a certain amount of damage. If you fire moving forward, you do more damage. If you fire while dashing, you do even more damage.

Storm Eagle

Storm Eagle: When you see gas tanks, shoot them, blow them up. At the beginning of the level, with the two moving platforms, the 3rd gas tank from the bottom, go past the energy capsule, into the wall. You'll get a 1-up.

Armored Armadillo

Armored Armadillo: If you've got all 4 sub tanks & power ups, & all 8 weapons & hearts, you can get a fireball. At the last slide, dash off of it, climb up 2 above the boss entrance. If there's a capsule there, get it. If there's not, fall into the pit & go there again on you're next life. This takes about 4-5 lives. 2 use it, have the X-Buster up, have full life, then push, Down, Down-Forward, Forward-Fire. This will kill most enemies in 1 hit.

Freeman

If you want freemen and you've already completed the Armored Armadillo stage then go to the first ride. Ride that thing down, jump off and shoot that black bat wit a blue charged laser. It should give you a freeman. If it doesn't, try it again until it does.

Here is a level select, suggested order.

Password trick

This trick works best with a turbo controller with slow motion. Turn on slow motion and Y turbo. Now move the controller around randomly changing the numbers. When a code is entered that the game recognizes it will immediately be activated. These codes often contain impossible combination s such as the powered up gun without the helmet.

Hyruken

To get the Hyruken, defeat all the bosses, get all the hearts, get all the sub-tanks, and get all the capsules. Once you have done this go to the Armadillo stage and go down the slope. There will be a big bat. Destroy him and walk away. Then go back and keep destroying him until you have 9 lives. Next keep going through the Armadillo stage until you get on the last mine kart. When you get to the sliding door that leads you into the small tunnel looking thing that is before all the bosses rooms instead jump up and get the life powerup. After you got the life powerup jump left and fall into the large hole. You will die and it will bring you back to the middle of the level. Get through it again and keep doing it about 4 or 5 times and soon a capsule will be up on the ledge with the life powerup. To use the Hyruken you have to have full life and if you do have full life quickly press down, forward, Y. It will destroy any boss, even sigma and his dog, but it can not destroy Sigma's final form.

Hadoken fireball technique

Go to Armadillos stage after you have all of your powers, and have killed all the bosses (except Sigma of course). Try to get to the ledge with all your life and weapons, then press start and use the exit. Do this 4 times and then on the 5th try go to where you fight Armored Armadillo and you will see a weapon capsule containing Dr. Light in a Ryu costume. He will then give you the Hadoken fireball technique. NOTE: You cannot, I repeat cannot turn off the game with a code after you get the fireball! It will not be there when you turn it back on and you will have to do it all over again!!!

Armor Capsule

With all of the eight bosses in the main screen, go to the Chill Penguin stage. Then go up the path then there will be an Armor Capsule, this will let you dash to get the helmet. Go to the Storm Eagle stage, climb up the path, then you will find a bomb. Blast the bomb's there and you will find the Capsule.

Dragon Punch

Get everything that you can get, and have your tanks full, then go to Armored Armadillo Stage and go to the end of the level where the gate is that you go through to fight the boss. Instead go up. Do this 3 or 4 or for times and Dr. Light will give you the Dragon Punch. To do this press Down, Down/Toward, Toward shoot.

Storm Eagle stage tip

On the Storm Eagle stage, race to the vertical beltway after destroying the flying bomb. When you get to the very top of the second beltway, do a dash-jump all the way to the left. You'll land on the top of the building at the beginning of the stage and a Heart Tank.

Armored Armadillo stage tip

In the Armored Armadillo stage, use the Flame Wave weapon to destroy both Bulldozerobots. If you beat the first one, and you have the Special Helmet, you can smash through the ceiling and grab the two Energy Capsules. If you destroy the second one, you can climb up and get the Heart Tank.

Get Zero's arm cannon before Sigma's stage

There is a way to get Zero's arm cannon before Sigma's stage. In the Flame Mammoth stage, there is a part of the ceiling made of blocks that X can break with his head, if he has the helmet upgrade. On the other side of these blocks is a small room with a capsule in which Dr. Light will give you the arm cannon.

Hidden fireball

Once you have beaten the Armadillo Stage, repeat it five times and on the ledge above the first door going into the room to fight the Maverick, inside you will find an Armor capsule that contains Doctor Light dressed as Ryu and he will give you a fireball.

Use B.Cutter on Flame Mammoth & Launch Octopus. They lose their nose and tentacles.

Level hints

Go to the Flame Mammoth stage. Right before the second frozen fire pit, there should be some blocks hanging down from the ceiling. Jump up there and use your helmet to smash them. You will get the X- Buster addition to the armor from here. This will let you charge up your weapons and your X- Buster. Now you must go to the right along the same pit and you will find a heart container. Then, make your way up to the very top of the ledges and go left till you find a ledge that has two hard hats and a 1-up on it. Do a dash- jump to the left and then break the blocks that you see there. Inside there you will find a Sub- Tank. Use the weapon that you got from Storm Eagle on Flame Mammoth.

After that, you can go back to the Chill Penguin stage and get the heart container. Once you get to the part right after you ride in the armored suit, do a dash- jump to the left and blow away the houses with the weapon you got from Flame Mammoth. then, us the Exit Vault to get out of the stage.

Next, you have to go to Armored Armadillo and get to the part where the excavating machine takes off. After it starts you have to go to the left of it and there will be a Sub- Tank there for you to get. If you have a turbo controller it really helps on the next part. When you reach the next excavating machine, constantly shoot at it if you have the turbo pad with the X- Buster, or use Storm Eagle's weapon. When it blows up, there should be a heart container in the ceiling, use the dash- jump to get it. When you fight Armored Armadillo, use the weapon you got from Spark Mandrill.

Launch Octopus is next. Move along till you get to the third one and get on the sub. Then, sink the sub, fight the sea monster to the left and get the heart tank. Then use Armored Armadillo's weapon on Laynch Octopus.

Go to the Boomer Kuwanger stage next and there is nothing you can do now but beat him. Use the weapon from Spark Mandrill on him.

After that, go back to the stage and shoot the heart container you saw with the boomerangs and then leave the stage.

Go back to the Spark Mandrill stage. Go the wrong way through the maze of ladders and go to the far right under it. Right under the big machine that shoots missals and sparks, jump and shoot a boomerang. You will get a Sub- Tank. Then, go up the wall and jump where the big turtle is. Climb up the wall and shoot a boomerang. This will take a while to get, so don't get discouraged.

Sting Chameleon is the last person you have to go to. When you get to the end of the first section, dash- jump off the edge and climb up the wall. You will fight a huge machine which will give you the chest armor. Try using the dash a lot and using either ice or spark weapons. Now when you beat this guy, slide down the wall you came up on and there will be a heart container in there. After you get this, you will have as much health as you can, and all the Sub- Tanks. You should use the boomerangs on Sting Chameleon.

Fill up your Sub Tanks quickly

If you need to fill up your Sub- Tanks quickly, then go to Armored Armadillo stage. There at the beginning, you can jump off the moving platform and run back and forth killing the bats. Then, if you need lives, go to where the road goes straight. There is a normal bat, an Ostrich, and a weird bat there. Every time you kill the normal bat, Ostrich, and the big bat in that order, you will get an extra life from the big bat.

Throw a very powerful fireball

This trick lets you throw a very powerful fireball when you have full life. The most important requirement of this code is getting ALL of the Heart Tanks, Sub Tanks, Special Weapons, and Power Ups. After accomplishing this, go to the Armored Armadillo stage. Ride the last mine cart until it launches you outside. Just before it hits the wall, jump to the cliff-side. Climb up, get the energy pellet, then fall off the ledge into the pit, losing one life. Repeat this five times. On the fifth time, a capsule will appear on the ledge. Stand in the capsule to get the fireball from Dr. Light. From now on, whenever you have full life, you will be able to throw a fireball by pressing Down, Down-Forward, Forward, Y. Note: Passwords will not save this trick! Because you have to lose lives, you can re-enter your password. As long as you do not turn off the power, the game will count every time you ride the mine cart.

Armadillo

Jump onto the ledge in front of the 2nd Earth Moving Machine.

Octopus

Sink Ship, Battle 1st Mecha-Eel, room to right. Use Storm Tornado to destroy the Ship. Use Storm Tornado to kill the Mecha-Eel. For fun try riding on the Mecha-Eel's back!

Kuwanger

On ledge at top of outside tower, use Boomerang Cutter. If you have the X-Buster Power-Up from the Mammoth Stage or Zero's Arm Cannon Power then form a shield around you before riding the elevator and while climbing the tower wall. It will kill every enemy during your outside climb up!

Chameleon

In pit at the start of the cave. Must defeat the Octopus so water will fill the pit that is just before the cave, then accel-jump across.

Eagle

Ride the elevator to the top and accel-jump to the left. You will land on the roof of the building on the left.

Mammoth

In the Pick Tossing Miner room on the far bottom right. Must defeat the Penguin first to freeze the Lava on the floor.

Acceleration System

Penguin At the top of the Ice cave.

Speed by pressing "A" and jump twice as far by pressing "A"+"B". "Step into this capsule and receive an acceleration system to boost your speed." - T. Light

Helmet Enhancement Eagle

Climb the tall girder, go down the other side, Accel-jump to ledge on right, blast through the gas tanks. "This capsule contains an enhancement for your helmet which will allow you to break some ceilings with a headbutt." - T. Light

Armor Chameleon

At cave entrance, accel-jump over the pit, climb onto top of cave and fight a Green Clamper robot. He can be defeated by X-Blaster shots to the head. Run fast under his jumps between your shots. "This capsule contains a new type of body armor. It will reduce damage to your system by 50 percent." - T. Light

X-Buster Power-Up Mammoth

At the entrance to the Pick Tossing Miners room jump onto the first platform, then run back to the left and dash jump so that X's helmet begins breaking the blocks (See below). "This capsule contains a part which will increase the capabilities of your X-Buster. You can use it to fire all types of weapons." - T. Light

Zero's Arm Cannon Vile's Room

Beat all Mini-Bosses, enter Sigma level, cross ravine, climb shaft, battle Vile (See below). "You are more powerful than you were before but Sigma is much more than he appears to be. You're going to need an edge. Take my Arm Cannon and your attack power should increase. Good Luck, X!" - Zero

Hyruken Power Armadillo

Use the following instructions:
"I give you a special present. Now, enter the capsule, please." - T. Light

1. Finished off all the Mini-Bosses and collect ALL of the Hart and Sub Tanks.
2. Return to the Armored Armadillo stage.
3. Before you reach the boss's room, when you are flying across the chasm on the cart, jump to the cliff above the door.
4. Quickly climb the cliff and grab the Power-Up, then jump into the chasm.
5. Repeat the process four more times, and Dr. Light will appear and give you the Hyruken power.
6a. Press Down, Down/Forward, Forward then Y to use the Fireball.
or
6b. Press Down, Down/Reverse, Reverse then Y to use the Fireball.
7. Remember, you must have full power to fire this weapon.
8. When X fires the Hyruken Power he yells "Hadoken!!"
