On the "Character Select" screen, rotate the controller counter-clockwise quickly, then press the Select button for a stealth select.

Tournament contest

Begin a normal two-player game and pick any two fighters. Then at the Versus screen, Player One should hold Up and press High Punch once, Low Kick once, Low Punch twice. Player Two should hold Up and press High Punch twice, Low Kick twice, and Low Punch once to access a tournament contest where all fighters are randomly chosen, even Smoke.

Codes

The sequence of numbers represents the number of times each player must press the Y, B, and A Buttons before the Vs. Screen fades. The first three numbers are for player one, and the second set of numbers are for player 2. For example, 999-995 Player one should press Y nine times, B nine times, and A nine times, and Player 2 should press Y nine times, B nine times and A five times. If there is a 0, you don't have to press that letter at all.

Tricks

In order to perform this useless trick, you need "Maximum Time Fatality", "Time Disabled", and "Quick Finish". You can find them on Kool Stuff, (U, U, D, D, L, R, A, B, A), and Kooler Stuff, (Select, A, B, R, L, D, D, U, U). Once on, pick any fighter in 2-player mode and begin fighting. Let player one win round one and perform any fatality. Now let player 2 win round two, and when it says Finish Him, don't perform a fatality and let player one hit the upper Left Button (Block). Then, player two will be in his winning bout, and player one will be in his fighting position. Right here, player one hit player two in his winning position. What will happen is that you two will be able to fight a little more for the remaining time of the fatality. As soon as the time is over, player one will just fall to the ground, and player two will win, because he was the one that won round 2. After that you will just go round 3.

I found out a cool but useless trick. You need to activate the Kool Stuff (U, U, D, D, L, R, A, B, A). Then, you need to turn off the time, turn on Maximum Time Fatality, and Quick Finish! When Fighting on 2-player mode, let player one beat the other player and perform any fatality. Then, let player two beat player one, but when it says "Finish Him" do not perform any fatality, and let player one press the right top button (BLOCK). What will happen is that player two will be standing in his winning position, and player one will still be in his fighting position. Then, player one, hit player two when standing, and both players will be able to fight for the maximum time of the fatality. When the time is over, Player one will just fall down, and player two will win because he was the won who won that match. Then you will just proceed to Fight Three.

For Cyrax

For an invulnerable invincibility move first start of by firing a net then immediately after fire a bomb doesn't matter just fire one bomb. Then if you did it right so far the net will turn black so if that's it teleport the second after you fire the bomb you will turn invisible expect for your shadow. Your opponent will be hit by the bomb and they can not hurt you. To release the move [counter it] you should stand next to your opponent and try throwing them numerous times till it works. If you are playing versus the computer, make sure you have more life than them because they can not break and when time runs out you will be the winner.

Animality: All Mercy moves are done by holding the Run Button, tapping Down four times and releasing the Run button. To execute Tsung's Animality, hold High Punch, press Run three times and release High Punch.

Fatality: Stand close to your defeated opponent and press Run, Run, Block, Block, and then Run and Block simultaneously. Your timing must be perfect.

Fatality: When your foe is reeling, stand at the back of the screen and hold the Block and Run buttons, then tap Up twice, Back, Down and release the Block and Run buttons.

Babality: Press Down, Down, Down, Forward, then press Low Kick.

Friendship: Stand about three steps away from the opponent and press Back, Forward, Back, and then Down and Run.

Animality: Stand next to the opponent and hold Low Punch, then press Back, Forward, Down, Forward, and release Low Punch.

Stage Fatality: Stand next to the opponent and press Forward, Forward, Down, then press High Punch.

Stryker

Grenade Attack: Stryker's grenade attacks have two ranges. Press Down, Down/Back, Back and tap High Punch to throw grenades high, or press Down, Down/Back, Back and tap Low Punch to hit low and below the belt.

Riot Club Trip: Press Forward, Back, then press Low Punch.

Riot Club Toss: Press Forward, Forward and execute a High Kick. This move is useful as a surprise opener, often catching your opponent off guard.

Fatality: Stand next to the opponent and press Down, Forward, Down, Forward, then press Block.

Fatality: Stand at the opposite edge of the screen, press Forward four times and follow up with a Low Kick. You must use the full screen for the Fatality to work.

Babality: Press Down, Forward, Forward, Back, then press High Punch.

Friendship: Stand within sweeping distance and execute a Low Punch, press Run twice and execute another Low Punch.

Animality: Stand within sweeping distance and press Run, Run, Run, and then press Block.

Stage Fatality: Stand next to the opponent and hold Block, then press Forward, Up, Up, then High Kick.

Sub Zero

Ice Blast: Press Down, Down/Forward, Forward and Low Punch.

Ice Statue: Tap Down, Down/Back, Back and deliver a Low Punch.

Ice Shower: Press Down, Forward, Back and execute a High Punch. Make the ice land on the far side of the screen by pressing Down, Down/Forward, Forward and throw a High Punch.

Slide: Simultaneously press Down/Back, Low Punch, Block, and Low Kick.

Fatality: Stand next to the opponent and press the Block Button twice, then Run Button, Block Button and finally the Run Button one last time.
