No posts for Earthbound? Really?

Even after all these years, this game is still highly addicting. From using the custom named spell I like to dub "Psy Rape", to the intricate and quirky characters (one of which seems like a blatant parody of the Blues Brothers), there's always something that I find new in the game, or rediscover it later having forgotten it.

The final level always gives me chills, how that last path seems alive...and probably is. I feel like I'm being swallowed, and that's a horrible feeling that makes me want to kill that Giygas over and over again so that he'll release me from that personal Hell.
