2K sports games protections

Any ideas about how the 2k sports games on DC protections work?
I have tried to get NFL2k1 to boot using raw data from GD-ROm. No Luck!
I do see that ECHELON merged two bins to create a 1st read.
Also the ECHELON bin file seems to be either compressed a bit or enc after it was merged.
BLOWFISH is referenced.

I know that blowfish is an enc type.
Is this what is actually used?
Or something else?
I probably will not understand either way lol
