Analog Drifting,But No Analog?

Hi All,new here :).

firstable i maked a video to describe it as much as possible

as you see there is only the rubber thingy,no analog stick because mine is broken but it always drifts down,but it responds if i touch it with a screw driver and then go down...lol.

i don't have a problem to but new analog stick but i want to know why it drifting down with or without the rubber thingy?

the psp for now is 6.37 fw with homemade Pandora battery powering it on,also i don't have a problem to do technical stuff i know to solder dump and etc so that is not a problem.

tried to cover as much as possible if something missing just say so.
the main goal here for me is to find out why the analog drifting down with no stick,and then buy new stick.

would be glad for help,thank you for anything guys!.
