Best firmware for me?

I run a PSP-2000 with CFW 5.00 m33 (I believe it was version 6, not 100% sure). I hacked it with directions from here and its served me well, but I'm worried that some of the newer games may not be compatible. Case and point is the latest Final Fantasy release. It should arrive tomorrow and if it tells me I need to upgrade to the most current firmware I'm not qute sure what to do.

Is there a CFW I should change to, or will 5.00 m33 v6 be fine?
