What's the best way to de-yellow (whiten) the console's plastic and make it look the same as it did when it was made in 2001? Right now it looks more beige than white. I bought it at the flea market for ten bucks though, so I'm not complaining.

I've heard of methods where you can take plastic and submerge it in things like bleach or peroxide, but along with the potential to weaken the plastic with bleach, I don't think the orange swirl on the fromt of the console would appreciate that much. Is there anything I can just rub on with say a cotton ball?
