I have an Apple 20" Cinema Display monitor. It has an ADC connector.

I am going to get the VGA cable from RacketBoy (RetroGaming with Racketboy - Keeping Your Classic Gaming Lifestyle Up To Date).

1. Can anyone recommend decent, slim-line, preferably a "flat bar" style of speaker? I do not have the space for sattelite speakers, so having the sound on tethered sattelite speakers won't do me any good.

2. I think the Apple display is going to be HD, what will happen when the DC signal comes in, will it be distorted?
