IRshell 4.9-5.5 with m33,-6,gend3-Same Problem

I have tried IRshell:
5.0 on m33
4.9,5 on m33-6
5.0,5.5 on Gen D3

all have the same problem
will get to IRSHELL start up menu (not the proper menu where you can scroll around)
but will sit there until i put my psp phat into hold

will not scroll around on the menu, i can only access the views with box after going into hold each time
I have put IRShell on first then updated my psp

anyone know whats going on?

anyone able to direct me to the solution?

i have spend a lot of time on this AND still nothing


EDIT: I just retried installing IRShell again with the tutorial on this website to the fullest
and it still wont load past the menu IRSHELL unless i put on hold
-installed the 1.5 kernel as a different forum said it could help
