Memory Card Question

I currently have a psp slim with 5.00m33-6 cfw and the 1gb mem stick that came with the psp. I am looking into buying a new mem stick solely for the purpose of having more room. I was wondering if I just plug in my psp to my computer, make a folder containing all the contents of my mem stick, plug in my psp with a new mem stick, copy everything over and voila or is there a different process? Would there be some sort of reverting back to ofw or would i have to buy some sort of hacked mem stick?

Also I was considering these two sticks:
