Need some help! Games running slow/stuttering

Hello everyone, I am currently running 5.50 Prometheus3 V4.
I have my cpu clock xmb to 333 and my cpu clock game to 333 as well.
The only two plugins I have running are remotejoy - vhs and remotejoy - game
When ever a video /cut scene runs it skips and stutters regardless of wether i am using remotejoy or not.
I am running my game from an ISO on the memory card - SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo 1.0 GB MagicGate.

Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening, I would appreciate it so much. Thanks in advance.
