New Pro Duo Card

I got my psp hacked with PSP CFW 6.20 PRO-B8. After downgrading from 6.39 and applying the permanent patch everything seems to be working fine. I bought a new 8gb card today and was wondering if i could just copy all the contents from my old card to my new one without any problems. I noticed when i flashed it it said a file will be kept somewhere. Is it ok if i just copy the whole contents to my new one?
