I noticed while playing Final Fantasy 7 that the right speaker in my PSP isn't working (and probably hasn't worked since I bought it used last November). So far, I've taken the LCD and mounting bracket off to get to the speaker. There is a very slight cut in the plastic on one of the wires, but I can hook the speaker up to the left speaker connector and it works fine. Furthermore, I can hook the left speaker to the right channel and it will not play any sound, leading me to believe that there is a short somewhere on the motherboard.
Does anyone have experience with this sort of issue or know where to look?
