PSP 1000 with CFW5.50 Prome-4 ... help

Hi Guys,

I know i should already know this by now but then i've been out of the scene for so long that i've literally forgot all about it ...

On to my question (apoligies if this had already been asked before). I am running CFW5.50 Prome-4 on a PSP1000 and my goal is to play the latest games.

Not what would you suggest i do? Should i upgrade? If so then to what? or should i live with applying a patch to every game using UMD Tool or what? Mind you i have no idea how UMD Tool works as well ... lol ... so am literally crying out for HELP!!!

The reason being is that i have been unable to play most of the newer games so your help in this matter is much appreciated.

Mind you i have no idea what i'm talking here so please help.
