Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I have a 3 year old slim that is rarely played these days. Part of it is because some of my UMDs are cracked and that my favorite PSX games are not on the PSN store despite sony's promises. I heard about CFW before from my friends and stuff, but never really looked into it. With the NGP coming soon and how little support the PSP is getting from sony, I feel like I have to squeeze some life out of this device before it gets any more obsolete.
My question is, how can i install CFW without using a pandora battery or a magic memory stick? I'm guessing that I would have to use the chickHEN hack, but I just want to get a confirmation from others before I go ahead and use it.
