Should pre-owned-baiting online passes be abolished?

Pre-owned games and all things concerned with it continue to be a hot-button topic in the video game industry. One of the most controversial issues is online passes, a measure introduced by publishers and developers to get a piece of the used-game sale pie and ensure its money and resources are efficiently used.
