What was it that got you to buy one? Was it because it was a Sega console? Or was it for a particular franchise? Or maybe for particular attribute the console excelled at?
For me. It was primarily for two reasons. Affordability... I purchased my DC in early 01 for $99 new. The other major reason was due to the systems claims early on on how it would bring arcade titles home with little to no compromises. The system really proved it right from day one with impressive arcade conversions at launch like MVC, Powerstone, Soul Calibur, HoTD2 etc.
