I'm a huge shmup fan, mostly for mega drive but also saturn and dreamcast. I have all the NGDEV TEAM games except neo xyx but I have played it.
My question is: who actually genuinely enjoys their games? I am always left disappointed when I receive it and feel that I have to try to enjoy the game. The size of the hit box is the major flaw for me. It is so small that most of the time I can just pass through bullets. I know this is so they can increase the bullet count but it is to the point where there is just too many bullets on the screen that it looks impossible and feels like I am being cheated when I pass through them. I swore to never buy another one of there games after gunlord.
What are other peoples opinions on their games?
