Get two Electrodes in your picture

Sent in by Beth

1. Go to Tunnel. (obviously)
2. Boost past the first Electrode that is rolling past
you. (This Electrode is of no use to you in any way whatsoever.)
3. Now for the important part. Watch the second Electrode
that is getting chased by 'buzz. When Electrode starts to turn
back around to go inside, boost up to be right behind him.
Electrode should now be in front of you, and 'buzz should be behind you.
Use your C-buttons to quickly look behind yourself, than hit 'buzz wit
a pester to keep him from coming too close. (Timing is important in this step)
4. Right after you pass the third Electrode that is just
sitting there hit him with a pester to make him blow at the same as Electrode #2.
5. Take a lot of pictures. Size matters here for both Pokemon
so pick a picture with both Pokemon having large size.

Poliwags tip

Sent in by Tips, Codes, Hints, Cheats, and Secrets Hunter

In the River level there are three Poliwags sitting up on a ledge at the very
beginning. To get all of those Poliwags in one shot is quite a task but it can
be done. You first throw a pest ball at the very first Poliwag. Do not hit it!
If you do it will faint and you won't have enough time to take the shot. Throw
the pest ball next to the Poliwag making him run to his partner further up.
Repeat the same process you did for the first one. The two Poliwags should run
up to the third Poliwag at the very to. Now throw a pester ball next to the
trio of Poliwags and they should come racing down at you. If you don't get a
good shot the first time don't get discouraged because it takes a lot of
practice to get a great shot of them.

Koffings tip

Sent in by Tips, Codes, Hints, Cheats, and Secrets Hunter

In the Cave level there are several Koffings. If you use your Dash Engine you
can catch up to one and play your Poke Flute to it. The first song, he spits
smoke everywhere and then spins around. The second song, he shoots out a ring
of smoke and this song is the most valuable! The third song, he shoots out two
puffs of smoke from the top of him and then makes a ring of smoke around him
like the second song.

Re: Pokemon Snap

Dittos tip

Sent in by Tips, Codes, Hints, Cheats, and Secrets Hunter

On the Cave level, there are three Dittos that are disguised as Bulbasaurs. To
get them in a "squad" knock all them out of their false genetic duplications by
hitting each one with a Pestball or an Apple. Now get them all together in one
big group by throwing an apple near them. When they all get together throw an
Apple at one of the side Dittos and try to hit all three Dittos with the same
apple. Then all the Dittos should grow in size and that is when you should take
the shot.

Re: Pokemon Snap

Bulbasaurs tip

Sent in by Tips, Codes, Hints, Cheats, and Secrets Hunter

On the river level, throw an apple in front of a small log on the left side and
a Bulbasuar will appear. Play your Pokeflute and throw a pester ball at Bublasaur.
While it is in the air, quickly look up and throw another pester ball
so it won't come down very fast. The Bulbasaur will jump on top of the log and
play the 2nd song on the Pokeflute and he will stand up like an Ivysaur but NOT
evolve into an Iysaur, the Bulbasaur will say Bulba-SaUrRR and then two other
Bulbasaurs ll quickly appear and start roaring at you for Pokemon food. Throw an
apple and while the Pokemon food is in the air, play your Pokeflute and they
will start singing Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur in Jigglypuff's sing attack
tune, the take a picture. Then go to where you get swift Pikachu and instead of
Pikachu, it will appear as a Bulbasaur and you throw a pester ball and it will
run behind the logs (where Swift Pikachu comes really) and a lot of Bulbasaurs
come out, this is just like the Charmanders and them dancing. You can play the
Pokeflute and the Bulbasaurs will dance this earns you a perfect score, a
perfect Bulbasaur!!

Pose tips

Sent in by Tips, Codes, Hints, Cheats, and Secrets Hunter

This tells you what you need to to get the yellow writing like "Oh! what a
Flame!". Here's the list of the Pokemon and what you need to do for maximum
points for pose. Good luck!

Arcanine - When he pops out take a picture when he's shaking off his embers
Articuno - Same as Psyduck but right after he hatches.
Bulbasaur - Feed him a apple and when he hops on his two legs and says "Bulb!"
take a picture!
Chansey - Feed her a apple and when she says "Chansey!"
Charizard - Hit he with a pester ball or apple when he blow fire that's your cue!
Charmander - Give him some food when he hops take a photo.
Charmeleon - When he says "Char!" take a picture.
Dragonite - When he says his name take a picture.
Ditto - Give him food when he jumps.
Graveler - Play the pokeflute when he is dancing.
Growlithe - Same as Arcanine
Mew - When he is still take you picture.
Moltres - When he stretches his wings out.
Psyduck - When he jumps and sparkles.
Shellder - When he snaps slowpoke's tail.
Zapdos - When he hatches quickly take a picture.

Special shots in each level

Sent in by Usagi

Tunnel-- Take a couple of pictures of the first Pikachu that comes along.
If you keep watching it, it will get on top of an electrode. This special
picture (Called Pikachu on ball) has a worth of 600, not counting size,
pose, technique.

Volcano-- Right past the Moltres egg there are two magmars. Throw one
apple between them, and they will start fighting. The fighting magmar
picture is worth 800, not counting size, pose, technique, multiple pokemon.

River-- Close to the end, there's a Pikachu on a tree. Throw a pester ball
at it, and it will start zooming around. Take a picture quickly, it's over
fast! Speed Pikachu has a worth of 600, not counting size, pose, technique.

Cave-- This one's a little tricky. You must save at least one of the
Jigglypuff from Koffing... there are three, and if you get all of them
you'll have more points later. After you pass the articuno egg, you see
Jigglypuff on a pinkish rock... only if you saved it. It's singing. Take a
couple of pictures of it, and make sure it's happy... or else it won't
count. Try to get the other jigglypuffs in there. Singing Jigglypuff is
worth 600, not counting size, pose, technique, and multiple pokemon.

Valley-- On the left side of the screen, around the middle of the course,
there will be three graveler. Play the pokeflute, and they'll start
dancing. Take a couple of pictures, and make sure all three of them are
in it. Also, the target shouldn't be showing its back. The Gravelar Dance
is worth 600, again, not counting size, pose, technique, and multiple pokemon.

Rainbow-- any picture of mew has an immediate value of 2500 points.
The Rare Mew pictures are hard to get, because it's either in its forcefield
that glows whenever you try to take a picture, or, if you managed to
remove the shield, it's running after it. I would advise always using the
R button when trying to take a picture of it. To get rid of the shield, hit
it with pester balls. After you remove the second shield, one hit will get
rid of it the next time.

Pokemon signs

Sent in by Usagi

When you activate the secret switch in Valley, Prof. Oak will tell you
about the pokemon signs. After that, revisit each course and find the signs.

Beach: On the left, after the Pikachu, you'll see a strange formation of
rocks. If you take a picture at an angle, you'll see the shape of kingler.

Tunnel: After zapdos uses it's electric attack on the power thingy (errmm...),
a lamp will light up after the two electabuzzes. Look at the shadow, it's a
pinsir. Snap a picture!

Volcano: Throw a pester ball into the first fire pit, and take a picture of
the smoke. It'll form into a koffing.

River: When the vileplume starts dancing, take a picture of the "tree"
behind it-- it's shaped like a cubone.

Cave: If you look to the right of the weepinbell (or victreebel if you
evolved it) , you'll see some strange glowing objects. Take a picture,
when it develops, you'll see a Mewtwo.

Valley: Very hard to miss. First thing you see are some mountains shaped
like Dugtrio. Easy picture.

Re: Pokemon Snap

Location of Pokemon

Sent in by Tips, Codes, Hints, Cheats, and Secrets Hunter

Bulbasaur - In addition to the two Bulbasaurs in the craters in the
River level, there is another hidden in a nearby log. Throw an apple near
the log's opening and it will appear.

Chansey - Throw a Pester Ball at the ball that Eevee is chasing in the
Beach level and Chansey will appear.

Charizard - Go to the Valcano and go to the Charmelon at the end.
Throw an apple at it so it will fall into the lava pit. He will turn into
a Charizard.

Charmander - Get stuck behind Moltres' egg in the Volcano level and look
left to see two Charmanders. Then, throw an apple at both of them and
they will roar to call more Charmanders to join them. You can get almost
ten Charmanders in the same photograph for extra points.

Charmeleon - Throw an apple between the Charmander and the Magmar in
the Volcano level. Then the Magmar will run up and blow fire at the
Charmander, causing it to evolve into Charmeleon.

Diglett - Diglett appears on the left side of the Tunnel level, next to a Pikachu.

Ditto - The three Bulbasaurs at the beginning of the Cave level are
really Dittos. Throw some Pester Balls at them to change them back into
their true form.

Dragonite - Go to the Valley and go to the whirlpool. Throw three
Pester Balls into it and a Dragonite will come out.

Dugtrio - Go to the tunnel by the Pekachu and Diglet. Take a picture
of Diget popping up and then Pekachu will move somewhere else and
Diglet will follow. Keep doing this until three Diglets come together
to make a Dugtrio!

Graveler - Play the PokeFlute at the location in the Valley level
that has three Gravelers. They will wake up and dance for a photograph
that is worth more points.

Growlithe and Arcinine - Go to the Valcano and go to the end where
the three craters on your right are. Throw Pester Balls into the craters
and Growlithes and Arcinine will come out.

Haunter - Take a photograph of the purplish mist in the first part of
the Tunnel level. Then a Haunter will appear when the photograph is developed.

Magmar - Get a photograph of the two Magar blowing fire in the Volcano
level for more points.

Magneton - At the end of the tunnel there are several magnemites.
Throw apples at all of them and they should gather up and turn into
a Magneton!

Mankey - Mankeys are found out in the open in the Valley level.

Magnemite - Throw an apple right in front of the Magnemite in the Tunnel
level. It will then stop its sonic wave and become photographable.

Meowth - Play the PokeFlute in front of Meowth in the Beach level
to make it dance for a better photograph.

Metapod - Throw Pester Balls at the Metapods in the Cave level and they
will drop down for a close-up.

Muk - Go to the Cave and take a picture of the first two grimers on
your left. A third one will appear on the opposite side three Dittos
(look like Bulbasaurs). Throw about three Pester Balls at it and it will
evolve into a Muk.

Pikachu - Play the Poke Flute in front of Pikachu in the Beach level
to have it use a Thundershock attack for a better photograph. Throw a
Pester Ball at the Zubat that is carrying Pikachu in the Cave level.
Pikachu will come down attached to balloons. Next, it will run over to
where Articuno is found. Release Articuno with
the Poke Flute. Then when approaching the end of the level, look behind
to see Pikachu riding on Articuno. Throw apples towards the Surf Board
in the Beach level immediately after seeing Pikachu to have it pose on
the board, including backflips. After flushing Scyther out in the Beach
level, two Pikachu will dash out and jump up on stumps. Play the Poke
Flute and they will start zapping. The photo of Pikachu on a stump with
a Thundershock is worth a lot of extra points.

Porygon - Go past Vileplume's location in River level. Pass the Metapods, then
look right when you see Psyduck near a lot of logs. Hit the wood-appearing
objects that are flying around with a Pester Ball and Porygon will appear.
Hit it with another Pester Ball and it will change into its original colors.

Rapidash - After the first Rapidash runs by on the Volcano level, two
more will appear on the right. Throw an apple at them and they will start
reigning. You can get more points for your photograph while they are on
their hind legs, because of their size, and since there are two of them.

Sandslash - In the Valley level, hit the first Geodude on the left with
a Pester Ball so he will fall down. While the first Geodude is down, hit
the Geodude right next to it. If done correctly, the Graveler on the very
top will fall. A Sandslash will pop out of the ground. Take a picture of
him because he won't stay there for long.

Sandshrew - Hit a Geodude down with a Pester Ball in the Valley level
and Sandshrew will appear from the ground.

Scyther - Go to the Beach. Go to the grass were it's begin cut. Throw
a Pester Ball were the leaves are coming from. If done correctly
Scyther will come out.

Shellder - A group of four Shellders can be photographed near the
Slowpoke area in the River level.

Slowbro - Go to the River. Get the Slowpoke to get on the stump near
the sigh of a shelder and it will stick his tall in and become a Slowbro.

Slowpoke - Throw apples near the wooden Shellder sign in the River level
to attract a group of Slowpokes.

Snorlax - Play the PokeFlute in front of Snorlax in the Beach level
to wake it up for a better photograph.

Squirtle - The little bumps in the water at the start of the Valley level are
Squirtle shells. Throw Pester Balls at them and they will shoot onto land.
Then you can take close-up photographs, without them fleeing like the other
Squirtles.

Starmie - Take a photograph of Staryu in the center of the Valley level.
Then its gem will turn blue and it will begin to circle you until the whirlpool
appears. Staryu will enter the whirlpool and come out as Starmie.

Staryu - Staryu appears above the water in the Valley level.

Sycther - Throw Pester Balls in the tall grass in the Beach level.

Victreebel - In the Cave level, hit the Weepinbell into the pond with
a Pester Ball. It will evolve into a Victreebel.

Vileplume - Go to where a lot of green smoke is coming out of a flower
top in the River level. Play the Poke Flute and Vileplume will come out
and dance. Press C-Down again to see a different dance. This may be
done again until all four dances are seen.

Weapinbell - This Pokemon can be found in the Cave level.

Zubat - Every time a steel door opens in the Tunnel level, a Zubat will appear.
